徳永さんの鋭い語りに聴き入る

「鳥取木鶏会
40周年記念講演」

本紙「潮流」元執筆者の徳永圀典さん93才が会長を務める「鳥取木鶏会」の創立40周年記念講演が2日、鳥取扇町の県民ふれあい会館で開かれた。
同会の会員20名が集まり、国際問題から経済問題まで多岐にわたる、徳永さんの舌鋒鋭い語りに興味深く聴き入っていた。
徳永さんは同会を結成後、40年間毎月1回の勉強会を
ほぼ欠かさず開催するほか、講演や執筆に精力的か活動を続けている。
記念講演では、現在の日本が抱える政治、外交、経済の問題について、戦中、戦後の経験や自身の史観を踏まえて解説した。
講演後、徳永さんは「若者たちに正しい日本の歴史を知ってもらわなければと。
そして命ある限り、日本の歴史や文化を語り継いで行きたい」と、活動への意欲を語った。

Listening to Tokunaga's sharp words

"Tottori Mokukei-kai 40th Anniversary Lecture"

The 40th anniversary lecture of the aired by 93-year-old Tokunaga 
Kunisuke, a former writer for our newspaper's "Tide", was held on the 2nd at the Prefectural Citizens' Fureai Hall in Ogimachi, Tottori.

20 members of the association gathered and listened with interest to Tokunaga's sharp words on a wide range of topics, 
from international issues to economic issues.

Since founding the association, Tokunaga has held study sessions almost every month for 40 years, and has been actively engaged
 in giving lectures and writing.

In the commemorative lecture, he explained the political, diplomatic, and economic issues facing Japan today, based on his 
experiences during and after the war and his own historical perspective.
After the lecture, Tokunaga spoke about his enthusiasm for his activities, saying, "I want young people to know the correct 
history of Japan. And as long as I live, I want to continue passing on Japan's history and culture."
